Biennial funding request; rules. (1) On or before September 1 of each even-numbered year, the Higher Education Coordinating Commission shall submit a consolidated funding request to the Governor on behalf of all the public universities listed in ORS 352.002. (2) The Governor’s budget may include the Higher Education Coordinating Commission’s funding request for public universities listed in ORS 352.002. Any funding request approved by the Legislative Assembly must specify that the moneys be appropriated to the Higher Education Coordinating Commission for allocation to the public universities listed in ORS 352.002. (3) The Higher Education Coordinating Commission may adopt rules necessary for the administration of this section. [Formerly 351.052; 2016 c.117 §57; 2017 c.440 §4]
