Statute Text
State
policy encouraging use of Braille.
It shall be the policy of this state that students who are blind and who, due
to lack of visual acuity or perception, cannot read printed material at a
competitive rate of speed and with facility, or who have a reasonable
expectation of visual deterioration, shall be encouraged to learn to read and
