Definitions for ORS 343.565 to 343.595.
As used in ORS 343.565 to 343.595:
(1) Braille
means the system of reading and writing through touch commonly known as
standard English Braille.
(2) Student who
is blind means an individual who:
(a) Is eligible
for special education due to visual impairment; or
(b) Has a
medically indicated expectation of visual deterioration. [1993 c.380 §2; 1999
