Member’s salary; reimbursement to district. (1) Membership on the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission shall not affect a member’s compensation from the employer of the member or any other benefits to which the member is entitled. (2) A school district required to employ a substitute for a teacher or administrator who is absent from employment while performing duties as a member of the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission shall be entitled to reimbursement for the district’s actual expenses in employing the substitute. Reimbursement for the expense of employing such substitutes shall be made by the commission from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission Account. [1965 c.535 §13]
