Statute Text
Meetings; expenses.
(1) The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission shall meet at least once
every six months at a place, day and hour determined by the commission. The
commission shall also meet at such other times and places as are specified by
the call of the chairperson or of a majority of the members of the commission
or as required by the executive director of the Teacher Standards and Practices
Commission for the purposes of ORS 339.390.
(2) A member of
the commission who is employed at a public school or by a private educator
preparation provider or by a public university listed in ORS 352.002:
(a) May not
receive compensation for services as a member.
(b) Shall receive
actual and necessary travel and other expenses incurred in the performance of
official duties as provided by ORS 292.495 (2) and subject to any other
applicable law regulating travel and other expenses for state officers.
(3) A member of
the commission who serves on the commission in the capacity of a district
school board member or as a member of the general public shall be entitled to
compensation and expenses as provided in ORS 292.495 (1) and (2). [1965 c.535 §§7,8;
