Prohibitions and allowances related to hiring of applicant to be school
employee.
(1) An
education provider may not hire an applicant to be a school employee if the
applicant does not comply with the requirements of ORS 339.374 (1)(a). A
refusal by the education provider to hire an applicant under this subsection
removes the applicant from any education provider policies, any collective
bargaining provisions regarding dismissal procedures and appeals and any
provisions of ORS 342.805 to 342.937.
(2) An education
provider may hire an applicant to be a school employee on a conditional basis
pending the education providers review of information received under ORS
