Definitions for ORS 335.495 to 335.505. As used in ORS 335.495 to 335.505: (1) “Component school district” means a common school district lying wholly or partly inside the boundaries of a union high school district. (2) “Split school district” means a component school district lying partly inside and partly outside the boundaries of a union high school district or an elementary district where students attend two or more union high school districts upon completing either the sixth or eighth grades.
