Definitions for chapter. For purposes of this chapter: (1) “Component school district” means a common school district or a union high school district that: (a) Is located within the territory of an education service district; and (b) Is not withdrawn from the education service district as provided in ORS 334.015. (2) “Education service district” means a district created under ORS 334.010 that provides regional educational services to component school districts. (3) “Joint school district” means a common school district or a union high school district located within the territory of more than one education service district.
