Statute Text
Employment of classified school employees.
(1) As used in this section, classified school
employee includes all employees of a school district in a position represented
by a collective bargaining unit, except those for whom a teaching or
administrative license is required as a basis for employment in a school
district.
(2) A classified
school employee shall have the right to be dismissed, demoted or disciplined
only for just cause.
(3) School
district employees subject to the civil service provisions of ORS 242.310 to
242.640 are exempt from the provisions of this section. [Formerly 342.663; 2023
