Statute Text
Zoning process. Except as provided in ORS 255.400 to 255.424, if a common school district or union high school district is zoned, the school board of the district shall divide the district into the necessary number of zones as nearly equal in population, as shown by the latest federal census, as practicable, taking into account attendance areas where possible. The board shall readjust zone boundaries if necessary to comply with this section, upon any change in the boundaries of the district. [Formerly 331.097; 2019 c.449 §15]
