Statute Text
Birth
Through Five Literacy Fund.
(1) The Birth Through Five Literacy Fund is established in the State Treasury,
separate and distinct from the General Fund.
(2) The Birth
Through Five Literacy Fund shall consist of:
(a) Moneys
appropriated or otherwise transferred to the Birth Through Five Literacy Fund
by the Legislative Assembly; and
(b) Other amounts
deposited in the fund from any source.
(3) Moneys in the
Birth Through Five Literacy Fund are continuously appropriated to the
Department of Early Learning and Care for the Birth Through Five Literacy Plan
established under ORS 327.839. [2023 c.534 §11]
