Statute Text
Grant
awards; rules.
(1)
The Department of Education shall award an Early Literacy Success School Grant
to an eligible school district or public charter school that applies for a
grant as provided by ORS 327.831. Moneys received under this section must be
used as described in ORS 327.829 (2).
(2) A school
district with an average daily membership, as defined in ORS 327.006, of 50 or
less shall receive a minimum grant award under this section.
(3) The State
Board of Education shall adopt any rules necessary for the distribution of
grants under this section. [2023 c.534 §5]
