Statute Text
Collection of moneys and property due to state.
(1) Except as otherwise
specifically provided by law, the Secretary of State shall require all persons
who have received any moneys or property belonging to the state and who have
not accounted therefor to settle their accounts and to return the moneys or
property to the state.
(2) An account of
a person who has received any moneys or property belonging to the state,
certified by the Secretary of State, shall be received in evidence in any court
