Statute Text
Coordination of plan with other local governments and plans.
In developing and implementing a
plan of economic development under ORS 280.500, a county shall:
(1) Provide that
each city within the plan boundaries may by resolution of the city governing
body become a part of, or exclude itself from, the economic development plan
within the city.
(2) Assure that
all city governing bodies wishing to participate are fairly represented in the
development of an economic development plan.
(3) Assure that
an economic development plan considers and is coordinated with the economic
development programs of cities, port districts and other public entities.
(4) Assure that
the economic development plan considers and is coordinated with all relevant
local comprehensive plans and planning efforts. [1979 c.182 §2]
