Statute Text
Assistance, grants, donations or gifts from United States and others;
disposition.
For
any of the purposes of ORS 276.005 and 276.426, the Oregon Department of
Administrative Services may:
(1) Accept
financial assistance and grants, either in the form of land, leasehold
interests, money or labor, from the United States, State of Oregon, or any of
its agencies subject to the conditions imposed thereon, regardless of any
conflicting state law and may accept any grant or donation of land, leasehold
interest, money or other valuable property made by others. Unless enjoined by
the terms of the grant or donation, the department may convert the same into
money and all moneys so obtained shall be credited to the State Capital
Construction Account; and
(2) Enter into
agreements and joint ventures with the United States, other political
subdivisions or other state agencies to accomplish these purposes. [1957 c.727 §3;
