Statute Text
Acquisition of riparian rights by department.
The Department of State Lands may acquire by
purchase, gift, condemnation or otherwise, any riparian rights which may, by
any court of competent jurisdiction, be held to be owned by or vested in any
upland or riparian owner on any meandered lakes, and may institute such suits
or actions as may be necessary in such condemnation proceedings. [Amended by
1967 c.421 §134]
