Agreements with other agencies for special services; costs; interagency services. (1) The Department of State Lands may enter into written agreements with any governmental agency for the performance of specialized, technical, professional, administrative or other services and for the furnishing of facilities and materials to carry out provisions of law applicable to the department. The activities and programs performed under such agreements remain subject to supervision and control by the department. (2) All expenses incurred by a governmental agency in performing services and furnishing facilities and materials under an agreement entered into pursuant to subsection (1) of this section shall be paid by the department to such performing agency in the manner other claims are paid. Payments by the department pursuant to this section and ORS 273.141 shall be made from moneys available to the department for the payment of its expenses. Before making any deposit to the credit of the Common School Fund, or any other fund or account managed by the department, the department may first deduct all expenses incurred pursuant to agreements entered into under this section and ORS 273.141. (3) Any state agency authorized under ORS 283.110 to furnish services, facilities and materials to other state agencies may in like manner furnish such services, facilities and materials to the department under written agreement pursuant to this section. All moneys received by a state agency in payment for services, facilities and materials rendered under a written agreement with the department may be paid, deposited and credited in like manner as provided in ORS 283.110 (2), or credited to the account from which the cost of the services, facilities and materials was originally paid.
