Acquisition or construction of major facility; conditions.
Notwithstanding ORS 268.310 (4), a
metropolitan service district that does not have a charter may not acquire or
construct a major cultural, convention, exhibition, sports or entertainment
facility unless:
(1) The financing
of the acquisition or construction is approved by the electors of the district;
or
(2) The facility
is acquired or constructed pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement under ORS
190.003 to 190.130. [2015 c.49 §3]
