Statute Text
Governor to solicit recommendations for director in metropolitan statistical area with population over 400,000. Before appointing a director to the board of a district situated in a metropolitan statistical area with a population exceeding 400,000, the Governor shall solicit from each city and county located wholly or partly within the subdistrict for which the appointment will be made recommendations of qualified individuals for the position.
