Statute Text
Rates
for energy furnished by agency.
The board of directors shall establish rates and collect charges for electric
power and energy and related services sold, furnished or supplied by the joint
operating agency. Such rates and charges shall be fair, nondiscriminatory and
at least adequate to provide revenues sufficient for:
(1) Payment of
the principal of and interest on those obligations of the joint operating
agency for which payment has not otherwise been provided;
(2) All payments
which the agency is obligated to set aside in any special fund for the
repayment of obligations and to provide reserves therefor;
(3) Payment of
taxes as provided by ORS 262.105; and
(4) Payments for
the proper administration, operation, maintenance, repair, renewals and
replacements of utility properties of the joint operating agency and to provide
reserves therefor. [1973 c.722 §10]
