Statute Text
Tally and return sheets; counting and tallying ballots. (1) To tally ballots by hand, the counting board shall use the tally sheets and two copies of the return sheet. (2) The completed tally and return sheets shall contain: (a) The offices on the ballot; (b) The number and name of each candidate who received a vote; (c) The total number of votes cast for each candidate and each measure voted upon; and (d) The total number of votes cast for and against the measure. (3) The tally and return sheets, when completed, shall be certified correct by the counting board that kept them. [Formerly 250.471; 2007 c.154 §45]
