Exception to ORS 251.365 for certain districts. ORS 251.365 does not apply to any special district for which the county clerk is required to hold elections if the special district demonstrates to the satisfaction of the county clerk that the special district is unable to pay the apportioned expenses of the voters’ pamphlet as determined under ORS 251.365. If the special district is unable to pay, the expenses apportioned to that district may be apportioned among the other electoral districts participating in the election. [1989 c.1031 §9]
