Statute Text
Voter
notification card.
(1) The county clerk shall prepare and issue by nonforwardable mail to each
elector a voter notification card of convenient size containing the name and
residence address of the elector, the name or number of the precinct in which
the elector resides and a brief statement of the circumstances under which the
elector is required to register or update a registration.
(2) When an
elector registers or updates a registration, the county clerk shall issue the
elector a new voter notification card by nonforwardable mail.
(3) If an elector
loses a voter notification card the elector may apply to the county clerk for a
new card, and the county clerk shall issue the elector a new card by
