Statute Text
Executive director. (1) The Oregon Government Ethics Commission shall appoint an executive director to serve at the pleasure of the commission. (2) The executive director is responsible for the administrative operations of the commission and shall perform such other duties as may be designated or assigned to the executive director from time to time by the commission. The executive director may designate a person employed by the commission to fulfill any duty or responsibility assigned to the executive director by law or by the commission. (3) The commission may not delegate the power to adopt rules or issue commission advisory opinions to the executive director. The executive director may issue staff advisory opinions as provided in ORS 244.282. [1974 c.72 §16; 2007 c.865 §16; 2017 c.557 §1]
