Statute Text
Character of examinations. (1) All examinations shall be practical in character and shall relate only to those matters which fairly test the relative fitness of persons examined to discharge the duties of the positions for which they are applicants. Examinations shall include, when appropriate, tests of health and physical qualification, and of manual, clerical or professional skill. (2) No question in any examination shall relate to political or religious preference, affiliation, opinion or services.
