Statute Text
Membership of certain legislative employees. An employee shall not be considered to have ceased to be a member of the system under ORS 238.095 (2) by reason of any year in which the employee is employed by the Legislative Assembly or either house thereof, or by a committee of the Legislative Assembly or either house thereof, for periods aggregating eight months or more during the year, whether or not contributions are made to the fund by or on behalf of the employee for those periods of employment, unless the employee withdraws the amount credited to the member account of the member.
