Statute Text
Director and staff. The board shall employ a director whose duties shall be as hereinafter provided. All ministerial duties required in the administration of ORS 237.414 and 237.950 to 237.980 shall be performed by the director and by employees under the direction of the director. The director shall hold the position during the pleasure of the board and shall furnish such bond as required by the board. The board shall also designate an employee to perform duties in the absence of the director. [1953 c.180 §10; 1973 c.704 §18]
