Statute Text
Acquisition of property for facilities.
(1) For the purposes of ORS 225.320, the city may
acquire by gift, grant, purchase or condemnation necessary lands and rights of
way within or without its statutory or corporate limits.
(2) For the
purpose of acquiring property under subsection (1) of this section, the city
may invoke and shall have the rights, powers and privileges granted public
corporations by laws pertaining to this subject.
