Statute Text
Change
in compensation of elective officers.
(1) The compensation of any elective county officer shall remain in effect
unless changed with the approval of the county budget committee or tax
supervising and conservation commission.
(2) Before any
change in the compensation of an elective county officer is effective, it must
be submitted to and approved by the county budget committee or tax supervising
and conservation commission at a regular meeting or at a special meeting called
for that purpose. [1981 c.48 §3]
