Umatilla County. The boundary of Umatilla County is as follows: (1) Beginning at a point on the boundary of the state and the eastern boundary of Morrow County, as described in ORS 201.250; thence southerly along such county boundary to the northern boundary of Grant County, as described in ORS 201.120; thence easterly along such county boundary to the boundary of Union County as described in subsection (2) of this section. (2) The boundary line between Umatilla and Wallowa and Umatilla and Union Counties begins at the terminus of Umatilla and Union Counties on the south and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the summit of the Blue Mountains where the township line between townships 6 and 7 south intersects the summit; thence west on the township line to the southwest corner of section 33, township 6 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 4 of such township and range; thence west to the southwest corner of section 34, township 5 south, range 34 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 27, township 4 south, range 34 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence west to the northwest corner of section 27, township 4 south, range 33 1/2 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northeast corner of township 4 south, range 33 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence west to the southwest corner of section 35, township 3 south, range 33 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 2, township 3 south, range 33 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of township 3 south, range 33 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence south to the northwest corner of township 3 south, range 33 1/2 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of township 2 south, range 33 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 31, township 2 south, range 34 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of section 28, township 2 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 3, township 2 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of southwest quarter of section 35, township 1 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of section 35, township 1 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of northwest quarter of section 36, township 1 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence south to the center of section 36, township 1 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of southeast quarter of section 36, township 1 south, range 35 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence south to the southwest corner of township 1 south, range 36 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east along the south boundary line of township 1 south, range 36 east, and township 1 south, range 37 east, to the southwest corner of section 33, township 1 south, range 37 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northeast corner of section 20, township 1 south, range 37 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of section 13, township 1 south, range 37 east of the Willamette Meridian; thence north along the east boundary line of township 1 south, range 37 east, and townships 1 and 2 north, range 37 east, of the Willamette Meridian, to the northeast corner of township 2 north, range 37 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of section 4, township 2 north, range 38 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the township line between townships 3 and 4 north, range 38 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of section 34, township 4 north, range 38 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 23, township 4 north, range 38 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southwest corner of section 17, township 4 north, range 39 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence north to the northwest corner of section 5, township 4 north, range 39 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence east to the southeast corner of section 31, township 5 north, range 39 east, of the Willamette Meridian; thence due north about nine and one-half miles, terminating at the state line between Oregon and Washington.
