Statute Text
Jackson County.
The boundary of Jackson County is as follows:
(1) Beginning at
the southwest corner of Umpqua County; thence running due east to the northwest
corner of Douglas County; thence southerly along the western boundary line of
Douglas County to the southwest corner of such county; thence easterly along the
southern boundary of Douglas County to the southeast corner thereof; thence in
a southeast direction to the eastern extremity of Rogue River Valley; thence
due south to the boundary line between Oregon and California; thence due west
along such boundary line to the Pacific coast; thence northerly along the coast
to the point of beginning.
(2) Beginning at
the southeast corner of Douglas County; thence running due east to the one
hundred and twentieth meridian of west longitude; thence due south along the
boundary line between Grant and Wasco Counties to the forty-second parallel of
north latitude; thence west along the forty-second parallel to the southeast
corner of Jackson County; thence to the place of beginning.
