Barring district employees from membership on governing board.
(1) As used in this section, district
has the meaning given that term in ORS 198.010 (1) to (5), (7) to (24) and
(27).
(2) A district,
by an ordinance or resolution that takes effect at least one year prior to the
date of the regular district election, may provide that any individual who is
an employee of the district is not eligible to serve as a member of the
governing board of the district by which the individual is employed. [1999
