Commission to amend regulations to facilitate periodic review.
In order to use state and local
periodic review resources most efficiently and effectively and to concentrate
periodic review on adequate provision of economic development, needed housing,
transportation, public facilities and services and urbanization, the Land
Conservation and Development Commission shall adopt, amend or repeal the
statewide land use planning goals, guidelines and corresponding rules as
necessary to facilitate periodic review and to provide for compliance by local
governments with those goals not described in ORS 197.628 (2) through the
post-acknowledgment procedures of ORS 197.610 to 197.625. [1999 c.622 §11; 2005
