Statute Text
Amount
of property to be sold; sheriff and deputies may not purchase.
At an execution sale, the sheriff
shall sell only the property necessary to satisfy the judgment. A sheriff
conducting an execution sale and deputies of the sheriff may not purchase
property at the sale or acquire any interest in property by reason of the sale.
