Statute Text
Waiver of collection of amount payable. If the Department of Corrections or the Oregon Health Authority determines that collection of the amount payable under ORS 179.610 to 179.770 for the cost of care of a person would be detrimental to the best interests of the person or the agency, the agency may waive the collection of part or all of the amount otherwise payable.
