Statute Text
Advisory committees; compensation and expenses.
(1) The Legislative Administration
Committee from time to time may appoint such advisory committees consisting of
members of the Legislative Assembly and others as are necessary to assist the
committee in carrying out its functions as provided by law.
(2) A member of
an advisory committee who is a member of the Legislative Assembly shall be
entitled to receive the per diem specified in ORS 171.072 from funds
appropriated to the Legislative Assembly for each day of performance of duties
as an advisory committee member. Other members are entitled to compensation and
expenses as provided in ORS 292.495. Expenses incurred under this section are
payable from funds appropriated or otherwise available to the Legislative
