Statute Text
Verification of reports, registrations and statements. (1) Each report, registration or statement required by ORS 171.725 to 171.785 shall contain or be verified by a written declaration that it is made under the penalties of false swearing. Such declaration shall be in lieu of any oath otherwise required. (2) No person shall willfully make and subscribe any document which contains or is verified by a written declaration for false swearing which the person does not believe to be true and correct to every matter.
