Sports
bribe receiving.
(1) A person commits the crime of sports bribe receiving if:
(a) As a sports
participant the person solicits, accepts or agrees to accept any benefit from
another person with the intent that the person will thereby be influenced not
to give the best effort of the person in a sports contest; or
(b) As a sports
official the person solicits, accepts or agrees to accept any benefit from
another person with the intent that the person will improperly perform duties
of a sports official.
(2) Sports bribe
receiving is a Class C felony. [1971 c.743 §165]
