Definitions for certain provisions of ORS 163.505 to 163.575. As used in ORS 163.505 to 163.575, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) “Controlled substance” has the meaning given that term in ORS 475.005. (2) “Descendant” includes persons related by descending lineal consanguinity, stepchildren and lawfully adopted children. (3) “Precursor substance” has the meaning given that term in ORS 475.940. (4) “Support” includes, but is not limited to, necessary and proper shelter, food, clothing, medical attention and education. [1971 c.743 §170; 2005 c.708 §3]
