Statute Text
Possession of a false law enforcement identification card.
(1) A person commits the crime of
possession of a false law enforcement identification card if the person
possesses a false law enforcement identification card.
(2) Possession of
a false law enforcement identification card is a Class A misdemeanor.
(3) As used in
this section, false law enforcement identification card means an
identification card that:
(a) Identifies
the possessor of the card as a member of a law enforcement unit; and
(b) Was not
lawfully issued to the possessor by the law enforcement unit. [1993 c.243 §3]
