Statute Text
Signature to notice of appeal.
The notice of appeal shall be signed by:
(1) The district
attorney for the county or by the Attorney General, when an appeal is taken on
behalf of the State of Oregon in a prosecution of an offense created by state
statute.
(2) The defendant
or an attorney for the defendant, when the defendant takes an appeal.
(3) County
counsel for the county, when the county appeals in a prosecution for violating
a county ordinance.
(4) City counsel
for the city, when the city appeals in a prosecution for violating an offense
created by the citys charter or by ordinance. [Amended by 1975 c.119 §1; 2025
