Statute Text
Forfeiture; recovery thereon. If the prisoner is released and fails to appear according to the condition of the security release or release agreement of the prisoner, the court, by proper order, shall declare the security release or release agreement forfeited, and recovery may be had thereon in the name of the state as in the case of other security releases and release agreements given by the accused in criminal proceedings within this state.
