Statute Text
Expenses of change; taxation as costs. (1) The expenses of the change of place of trial under ORS 131.363 shall be taxed, as allowed by law, as expenses of the action, and the costs and expenses of the action shall be taxed in the court and paid by the county wherein the trial is held. If the costs and expenses are not recovered from the defendant, the county in which the action was commenced shall repay the county in which the trial is held. (2) The expenses of a change of place of trial under ORS 131.355 shall not be taxed against the defendant. [1973 c.836 §23]
