Statute Text
Required disclosure of agency by solicitors. No person shall engage in an in-person solicitation as an agent of a professional fund raising firm, including a face-to-face or telephone solicitation, unless it is disclosed orally in the course of the solicitation but prior to asking for a commitment for a contribution from the solicitee, and in writing to any solicitee that makes a pledge to be delivered within 10 days of the date of the pledge that the solicitor is operating under the direction and control of a named professional fund raising firm.
