Statute Text
Effect
of vacancy in office of county public guardian and conservator.
(1) The person appointed to the
office of county public guardian and conservator shall serve in the office at
the pleasure of the appointing authority. If the person holding the office of
county public guardian and conservator is removed from office, dies, becomes
incapacitated or resigns, the removal, death, incapacity or resignation shall
operate to remove the county public guardian and conservator as guardian and
conservator of all estates then under the guardianship and conservatorship of
the person.
(2) As used in
ORS 125.700 to 125.730, county public guardian and conservator means the
person appointed to the office of county public guardian and conservator
created under ORS 125.700. [Formerly 126.915; 2014 c.117 §14]
