Statute Text
Change
of adopted childs name.
If in a petition for the adoption of a child a change of the childs name is
requested, the court, upon entering a judgment granting the adoption, may also
provide in the judgment for the change of the name without the notice required
by ORS 33.420. [Amended by 1997 c.872 §24; 2003 c.576 §154; 2017 c.100 §5]
