Statute Text
Employment of staff; public hearings. In the exercise of its power under ORS 1.735, the council: (1) May employ or contract with any person or persons, as the council considers necessary, to assist the council; and (2) Shall endeavor to hold at least one public hearing in each of the congressional districts of the state during the period between odd-numbered year regular sessions of the Legislative Assembly.
