Policies and procedures for exempting accounts from requirements of ORS 1.197 and for ceasing collection efforts. (1) The State Court Administrator may establish policies and procedures for exempting accounts from the requirements of ORS 1.197. All policies establishing exemptions under this section must be documented and justified by the State Court Administrator. (2) The State Court Administrator may establish criteria and standards by which state courts and commissions, departments and divisions in the judicial branch of state government may cease to make collection efforts for specified types of accounts.
