§ 20-280.15. Definitions. The following definitions apply in this Article: (1) Airport operator. - As defined in G.S. 20-280.1. (2) Peer-to-peer vehicle sharing. - The authorized use of a shared vehicle by an individual other than the shared vehicle owner through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program. (3) Peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program. - A business platform that connects shared vehicle owners with drivers to enable the sharing of vehicles for financial consideration. (4) Shared vehicle. - A vehicle that is available for sharing through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program. (5) Shared vehicle owner. - The registered owner of a shared vehicle that is made available for sharing through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program.
