Statute Summary

NY VAT § 2226 - Licensing by municipalities 2226. Licensing by municipalities. No municipality shall require licensing or registration of snowmobiles which are covered by the provisions of this article; nor shall it require possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as a condition for the operation of a snowmobile on lands owned or controlled by such municipality.
